Why We Built This Site
Minnesota organizes Rock County trial matters in Rock County District Court, within the Fifth Judicial District. Court Administration maintains the official case file and issues certified copies. Minnesota Court Records Online, known as MCRO, supplies remote access to eligible case details, hearings, judgments, and documents. Those services do different jobs, so an online result is not a substitute for a clerk-certified record.
What You Will Find Here
- Criminal and civil dockets: how the criminal docket search and civil docket search use MCRO and Court Administration.
- Dates and settings: how to use the live county calendar and the Rock County court dates route.
- Case lookup: how a case lookup works with a name, case number, citation, or attorney field.
- Official copies: how the court record search route leads to a clerk-held plain, certified, or exemplified copy.
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference resource with no connection to the Minnesota Judicial Branch, Rock County Court Administration, or any government agency. Its limits are important:
- It cannot retrieve an official case file or register of actions for a requester.
- It cannot set, change, or confirm a hearing date.
- It cannot alter, seal, remove, or amend any court case.
- It cannot produce certified court copies, orders, or judgments.
- It does not provide legal advice about a specific case.
- It cannot guarantee that a live calendar, fee, address, or phone detail has not changed.
Only Rock County Court Administration, as the office maintaining the District Court file, can issue an official or certified record for a Rock County case.
Search Partners
Some pages contain search boxes operated by outside providers. Those providers control their services, pricing, and results. A completed paid signup may create a referral fee that helps support the resource, but it does not change the official source of a Rock County case record: the Minnesota Judicial Branch and local Court Administration.
